I'm only sending this along because I do not know of a lot of current mothers who use cloth diapers exclusively. If you have a small bottle of detergent or spray bottle of water with some mild soap you could spray or pour some on the dirty part of the diaper until you can get home and do the pre washing in your own toilet. Since you dont want to wash out the diaper in some of those rather dirty toilets, just get rid of what you can into the toilet and store the diaper in a plastic bag. Public restrooms are places you can dispose of the wipes which are not flushable. When you change the baby in the car or another place with no toilet you just have to keep the dirty diaper in a plastic bag along with the wipes. When changing diapers at a friends house, flush and clean out the diaper in the friend's toilet then wring it out and place in a plastic bag. From a great grandmother who used cloth diapers with 5 children and also many newborn foster children.
